Description: The goal of this class is to help students build the skills and confidence to create amazing artwork! We’ll learn how artists observe the world around them and transform what they see into unique works of art using their own style and creative voice. Students will explore exciting techniques in a variety of media while learning how to evaluate, refine, and strengthen their artwork. Through hands-on projects, we’ll dive into the building blocks of art—including shape, value, composition, proportion, and perspective—using pencil, ink, colored pencils, and other fun materials. Whether you’re just getting started or looking to grow as an artist, this class will encourage creativity, curiosity, and a love of drawing and making art!
