NYT Forbidden Broadway Teen Camp
Six days. Countless laughs. Endless Broadway magic. Get ready for Forbidden Broadway Teen Camp, where teens dive into hits from Phantom of the Opera, Beetlejuice, The Addams Family, Hadestown, Little Shop of Horrors, and Sweeney Todd!
Who: Teens ages 12–14 & 14–19 (age as of Sept. 1, 2026). Age 14 can choose middle school or high school camp.
When & Where: June 8-13 at Tomball Legacy Square, 401 Oxford Street, Tomball. Both camps run the same week.
Directing Team: Abigail Baker, Director & Choreographer; David Horn, Vocal Director; Kayleigh Collier, Assistant Choreographer
What to Expect:

Daily rehearsals to prepare for the Grand Showcase

Voice, dance, and drama coaching for all skill levels

Worship & scripture time to grow spiritually while making lifelong friends

Classic camp fun: dance night, team games, and an optional epic Thursday Lock-In party (ages 14-19)
Camp Schedule:

Mon–Wed & Fri: 9:00 a.m.–9:00 p.m.

Thu: 9 a.m.–Optional lock-In Party for ages 14-19; 10 p.m. pick-up for ages 12-14 (Lock-In Party – bring a sleeping bag, air mattress, and pillow)

Sat: 9 a.m.–8 p.m
Campers in Newsies or Big Fish: 12:30 p.m. – 8 p.m. (attend rehearsals 9-12) -
Sat: Two Identical Showcases at approx. 6 p.m. & 7 p.m. @ Tomball Legacy Square
