Be A Part Of It!
The stage is virtual. Don’t let staying home keep your actor from performing. This summer, NYT is bringing its musical theater camp straight to your living room. Kids will learn about performance – vocal, dance and drama, virtually meet-up with other kids for worship and scripture and lots of fun games all from home! NYT’s virtual camp will engage and inspire your young actor.

Come join the summer fun! Disney’s Descendants youth musical theater day camp will combine lots of the songs you already know and love with great choreography and exciting drama. Plus there will be lots of other fun summer camp activities. You won’t want to miss a minute of this action packed camp!
National Youth Theater summer day camps are a great opportunity to build theater skills while having a blast. Never participated in theater? Great! Been in lots of shows? Terrific! Our goal is to provide a safe, loving environment to allow the development of character through acting, singing, dancing & games. We endeavor to foster an atmosphere that encourages a sense of belonging & promotes training to recognize, honor & acknowledge the gifts in each camper.
National Youth Theater youth day camps are offered for ages 6 through 12. These 5-day musical theater camps run Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.; parents drop off and pick up their children each day. Broadway-style theater instruction is combined with fun and games. Christian worship and scripture are an integral part of each day.
Every day campers (divided into age-appropriate groups) rotate through musical theater activities such as Dance, Drama, Vocals, and Games, learning new moves, lines, and lyrics, which they will present at a showcase on Friday (the last day of camp). Campers also participate in daily inspirational worship and devotion time. It is truly amazing to see how much kids can accomplish in building their musical theater skills, all while having a ton of fun, in such a short time!
We are excited to be able to offer summer camps in 2020! We want our kids, staff, and parents to know that their health and safety are our number one priority. On-site summer camps will follow state and local health and safety protocols for day youth camp. We will be implementing new safety protocols this summer including daily screening of campers and staff, educating and enforcing hand washing, coordinated curbside drop-off and pick-up, additional staff to support sanitation and disinfecting our facilities, and smaller groups to implement social distancing.
