Audiences will be treated to spectacular production numbers, beautiful costumes, festive choreography, and treasured Christmas songs that capture the excitement and spirit of the season.

From the bustling North Pole and enchanting winter wonderlands to heartwarming celebrations of Christmas through the centuries, this family-friendly production is filled with laughter, holiday cheer, and timeless traditions. The evening culminates in a breathtaking Living Nativity, reminding audiences of the true meaning of Christmas through powerful music, inspiring storytelling, and a celebration of faith, hope, and love. Traditions of Christmas is a holiday experience that will create cherished memories for the entire family.

KICKETTES BOOT CAMP

PRODUCTION FEE
$55 per person production fee (plus volunteer hours)
Scholarships and Payment Plans are available.
This includes up to 70 hours of theater instruction, a show shirt, a character photo, professional performance photos, and numerous opportunities to make friends. Please note that it does not include items such as stage makeup, dance or character shoes, or basic costume pieces (such as black/white/khaki pants, tights, colored socks, etc.).

CHARACTER DESCRIPTIONS

Mr. & Mrs. Claus

The beloved hosts of Christmas! Warm, joyful, and full of holiday spirit, Mr. and Mrs. Claus help guide audiences through the magic and traditions of the season. Strong stage presence and engaging personalities are encouraged.

Kickettes (Kickline & Toy Soldiers)

A precision dance ensemble inspired by classic Christmas spectaculars. These performers execute energetic kicklines, synchronized choreography, and may also portray Toy Soldiers in one of the show’s most exciting production numbers. Strong dance skills are recommended.

Christmas Toys

A colorful collection of classic toys brought to life! Dolls, teddy bears, jack-in-the-boxes, toy drums, and other holiday favorites fill the stage with energy, movement, and imagination. Great character roles for expressive performers.

Elves

Santa’s cheerful helpers keep the North Pole running smoothly! Full of personality, humor, and holiday excitement, the elves appear throughout the production helping prepare for Christmas and spreading festive fun.

Raggedy Anns & Andys

Classic storybook dolls who come to life in a nostalgic Christmas celebration. These charming characters feature playful choreography and timeless holiday charm.

Frosty the Snowman

Everyone’s favorite snowman makes a magical appearance! Frosty brings laughter, fun, and classic Christmas cheer while delighting audiences of all ages.

Gospel Choir

A powerful vocal ensemble celebrating the joy and hope of Christmas through inspirational gospel music. Strong singers with enthusiasm for uplifting performances are encouraged to audition.

Adult Chorus / Ensemble

Adult performers portray a variety of festive characters throughout the production while providing rich vocal harmonies and dynamic stage presence. The ensemble helps create the spectacular scale of the show.

Teen Chorus / Ensemble

Teen performers sing, dance, and portray multiple characters throughout the production. This versatile ensemble appears in numerous scenes, helping bring the excitement and wonder of Christmas to life.

Kids Chorus / Ensemble

Young performers add excitement, joy, and holiday spirit to the production through singing, dancing, and featured ensemble moments. This group helps create many of the show’s most magical scenes.

Living Nativity

The heart of the production, portraying the birth of Jesus Christ with reverence and beauty. Roles may include Mary, Joseph, Angels, Shepherds, Wise Men, and other members of the Nativity. This moving finale celebrates the true meaning of Christmas through a powerful visual presentation.
