Show Choir Description
This will be a creative, fun, and engaging choral class with additional performance opportunities. Students will navigate complex harmonies in SATB structure while incorporating dance and acting skills. They will fine tune their music theory and gain confidence in group theatrical numbers. Show Choir members will participate in outside performances in the fall and spring.
Ms. Shana is the Show Choir Director for the 2025-26 year, with Ms. Nikki Gould assisting. The Show Choir class is held at Tomball Methodist Church on Thursdays, 5 p.m.-6:30 p.m.
Show Choir Fees & Policies

Tuition – $90, paid monthly

Show Choir Registration – $30, includes Show Choir shirt

Recital Fee – $70, covers recital expenses and photography

Studio Registration – $35, billed at the first class registration of the year

Fall Performance Costumes – Show Choir members will have a fundraiser for additional costume and performance expenses.

Show Choir members are expected to be in class weekly unless they have communicated in advance with the instructor.

Show Choir members are expected to conduct themselves with integrity and character in and outside of NYT events.

Students who make Show Choir are expected to commit for the 2025-26 season.

Show Choir members cannot also be members of NYT Studio Company.
